Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Civil Engineering, Public Works, Construction, or similar environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, professional service in all interactions with staff, customers, and the public.
• Administer construction and design contracts to ensure compliance with terms and standards.
• Develop standardized specifications and contract documents for projects and services.
• Coordinate application of city standards and inspection of infrastructure projects.
• Participate in selection of consultants for capital improvement contracts.
• Assess infrastructure conditions and recommend improvements.
• Act as city liaison and inspector for capital projects and private development.
• Prepare documents including as-built reports, easements, affidavits, maintenance agreements, and cost estimates.
• Participate in and negotiate easement and ROW acquisitions.
• Modify processes to enhance departmental performance.
• Provide guidance and training to team members; maintain safety compliance.
