Job summary

City of Belton, MO seeks a Custodian to maintain city buildings, perform routine cleaning, and assist with minor maintenance. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.

Duties include sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, vacuuming, mopping, and assisting in moving items as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Must drive to multiple city locations and have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms.
• Restock soap and paper dispensers in restrooms and break areas.
• Vacuum carpeted floors and perform spot cleaning & shampooing.
