Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Route Coordinator to oversee city hub and spoke deliveries. You will ensure orders are accurate, parts are ready, and schedules are kept on track across stores.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and a manual transmission capable driver is a plus. Responsibilities include monitoring routes for efficiency, maintaining organized delivery areas, and ensuring proper timekeeping and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate city route schedule for hub to spoke stores.
• Serve as contact person for city delivery service.
• Receive orders from stores via phone or invoice and ensure parts are ready for delivery.
• Ensure accuracy of each order pulled prior to delivery.
• Maintain organized city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store.
• Ensure hub delivery specialists run on schedule and communicate delays to stores on route.
• Monitor hub system and routes to increase efficiency and reduce expenses.
• Ensure team members clock in/out per policy.
• Research any parts not delivered as scheduled and adjust billing.
• Work with store manager to cover routes in absence of regular driver.
• Ensure vehicles are well maintained and inspections completed; log daily mileage.
• Provide input on delivery specialists' performance for evaluations.
