Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public administration, finance, or accounting.
• Five years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience in public and financial management.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the City’s treasury and cash management functions, including cash flow analysis and investment of surplus funds.
• Prepares financial statements, budget reports, ACFR, and other management reports.
• Coordinates annual audit, liaises with external auditors, and ensures compliance with GASB and state/federal reporting requirements.
• Directs, manages, and evaluates treasury and financial operations and staff; provides leadership and policy development.
