Job summary

ADM Citrus Products Supervisor is responsible for providing daily leadership and guidance to the laboratory team to achieve KPIs aligned with business goals. You will ensure safety, mentor staff in citrus oil formulations, and collaborate with R&D and production to optimize quality and throughput.

You will oversee work orders, manage specifications and reports, and partner with inventory and planning to meet customer demand while maintaining compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Food Science or related science (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience, preferably in citrus or food industries.
• Technical knowledge of citrus oils preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Project management skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter able to collaborate with multiple departments.
• Proficient in standard chemical procedures: GC, pH, acid value, peroxide value, specific gravity, refractive index, optical rotation, color, aldehyde content, and other standard tests.
