Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, implement, administer, and support Citrix-based solutions that deliver secure, high‑performance virtual desktops and apps. This role ensures stability and efficiency of Citrix environments to meet organizational goals and user productivity.

You will design and maintain Citrix environments (on‑premises and cloud), monitor performance, automate tasks with PowerShell, and collaborate with security teams for policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires 3 years of experience supporting enterprise cloud environments with foundational knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory is preferred.
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Citrix environments (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, Citrix ADC/NetScaler).
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or XEN.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on‑premises/Azure and/or Citrix Cloud).
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability.
• Manage user profiles and policies using Citrix Profile Management, FSLogix, or equivalent.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations of Citrix components.
• Collaborate with IT security to ensure policy compliance.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell.
• Provide documentation and diagrams for Citrix environments.
• Work with application owners and vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
