Job summary

Loyola University Chicago is seeking a part-time Research Coordinator to support the Cities curriculum across designated CPS schools. You will recruit university student mentors and middle school mentees, serve as the primary contact for participants and facilitators, and act as a liaison between partner schools and community programs to sustain engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in related field and at least two years of relevant experience or combination of advanced degree and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with peers, school staff, and young adults.
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate curriculum and part-time role.

Responsibilities

• The Project Manager is responsible for and assists with implementing the Cities curriculum across the designated schools.
• Supports recruitment of university student mentors and middle school student mentees for the program, and serves as the primary point of contact for mentees, mentors, and facilitators, as well as the liaison between partner schools and community programs.
• Build and nurture connection between research and implementation teams.
• Serve as primary school liaison at both CPS schools and build systems of sustainability.
• Support development of presentations and papers as available.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Primary and Co-Investigator and Director of Family Services.
• Help to supervise undergraduate student Fellows and DFS interns on the project.
