Job summary

CAE is seeking an Instructor Pilot in the United States to lead flight simulator and ground training, ensuring pilots meet CAE and regulatory standards. You will run comprehensive pre- and postflight briefings and serve as a subject matter expert across aircraft platforms, guiding course development and client training.

Applicants should have ATP credentials (or ATP Written), robust flight experience, and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written.
• Unrestricted PIC Type Rating preferred.
• FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with common software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in line with CAE curriculum and customer expectations.
• Conduct thorough pre and postflight simulator briefings.
• Act as SME for client training and internal course development.
• Maintain training records and qualifications; recommend remedial training when needed.
• Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.
• After ~1.5+ years, qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and contract check airman.
