Qualifications

• Must complete DBHDS approved 40 hour CIT Core Training Program.

• Serve as sworn deputy assigned to the CITAC.
• Accept custody transfers from law enforcement to ensure timely mental health assessment.
• Complete required training and maintain certifications.
• Prepare routine reports accurately in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate ability to interact with individuals in mental crisis and de-escalate situations.
