Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to build and lead a modern, engineering-driven information security organization. You will own Anduril's security posture end-to-end, partnering with CIO and CSO to ensure rapid product delivery with uncompromising protection of assets.

The role requires 15+ years of leadership in security, deep technical expertise, and a track record in government-compliant environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security or related technical disciplines.
• Proven experience as a CISO or senior cybersecurity leader at tech or defense companies, or senior cyber leadership in military/intelligence.
• Deep technical expertise across network, application security, security operations, incident response, IAM, and cloud security.
• Successful track record building and mentoring cross-functional security and IT teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of government cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements (NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA, DFARS).
• Active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance (existing or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy protecting networks, data, and IP.
• Lead a unified security organization spanning InfoSec, IT, infrastructure, and cyber compliance.
• Partner with CIO to enable engineering functions for scale.
• Collaborate with CSO to fuse cyber, physical, and human protections.
• Drive threat detection, investigation, and rapid response to incidents.
• Own cyber risk management with ongoing assessment and prioritization for executive visibility.
• Ensure global cyber compliance with applicable frameworks and government obligations.
• Embed security into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure as code.
• Secure enterprise IT and network infrastructure across a growing global footprint.
• Drive measurable outcomes and accountability through security initiatives.
