Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to build and lead a modern, engineering-driven information security organization.

You will own Anduril's security posture end-to-end, partnering with the CIO and CSO to secure networks, data, and assets across a global footprint. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in security leadership, deep technical expertise, and a track record of implementing risk-based, engineering-first security programs at defense or tech companies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security or related technical disciplines.
• Proven experience as a CISO or senior cybersecurity leader in tech or defense.
• Deep technical expertise across network, application, security operations, incident response, IAM, and cloud security.
• Demonstrated success building and mentoring cross-functional security and IT teams.
• Strong understanding of government cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy protecting data, networks, and IP.
• Lead a unified security organization spanning InfoSec, IT, Network Engineering, and Cyber Compliance.
• Partner with CIO and CSO to align security with engineering and business goals across global sites.
• Drive threat detection, investigation, and rapid incident response across classified and unclassified environments.
• Build and maintain a dynamic cyber risk management framework with actionable leadership reporting.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA, DFARS and related gov’t requirements.
• Embed security into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure as code.
