Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to build and lead a modern, engineering-driven information security organization. You will own Anduril's information security posture end-to-end, spanning InfoSec, IT, and Cyber Compliance, reporting to the CIO and partnering with the CSO to align security with fast-paced product delivery.

You will drive threat detection and response, manage cyber risk, and ensure compliance with NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, and DoD requirements

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in information security or related technical disciplines.
• Experience as a CISO or senior cybersecurity leader in technology/defense.
• Deep technical expertise across network, application, security operations, incident response, IAM, and cloud security.
• Proven ability to build and mentor cross-functional security/IT teams.
• Strong knowledge of government cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (NIST 800-171, CMMC, FedRAMP, FISMA, DFARS).
• Active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an information security strategy covering networks, data, and IP.
• Lead a unified, engineering-driven information security organization.
• Partner with CIO and CSO to align security with engineering and business goals.
• Drive threat detection, investigation, and rapid incident response.
• Implement dynamic cyber risk management and provide actionable risk intel to leadership.
• Ensure global cyber compliance with applicable frameworks and government contracts.
