Job summary

Uline, a North American leader in shipping and packaging materials, seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to drive the strategic direction for cybersecurity, risk management and regulatory compliance across the business. You will work with executive leadership to protect critical data, strengthen resilience and ensure a secure environment for our growing North American company.

Lead the Security Operating Model, build and guide Information Security teams, define enterprise-wide security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or similar.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in Information Security with 5+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong background in building and executing enterprise security programs.
• Hands-on knowledge of security frameworks, risk management and data protection practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership for Uline’s Security Operating Model, identifying staffing needs and third-party vendors to mitigate risk.
• Build, develop and lead Information Security teams, setting clear expectations across all levels to support performance, accountability and long-term talent development.
• Define and drive the organization’s enterprise-wide security strategy based on business objectives and risk tolerance.
• Oversee security policies, standards and controls that meet regulatory requirements and protect the business.
• Report on security risks, incidents and performance and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
