Job summary

AVP Vigilant Technology Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across multiple U.S. locations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking, TCP/IP, routing and switching, and network troubleshooting. You will design and configure enterprise networks, troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches, monitor performance and security, and collaborate with security, systems, cloud,

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies.
• Excellent understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• CCNA certification preferred or equivalent hands-on knowledge.
• Experience with VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and network devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues.
• Implement and maintain TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Perform network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
• Analyze network incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.
• Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in network maintenance and incident-response activities.
