Job summary

The Systems Engineer II (CISCO ISE & Wireless) at Moffitt Cancer Center supports the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of storage, virtualization, servers, and network infrastructure across Research, Business, and Clinical groups. The role emphasizes Cisco ISE NAC and wireless integration while delivering robust documentation and incident analysis.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with VMware, Citrix, SCCM, AD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related field.
Minimum five years in systems/infrastructure engineering or equivalent.
Experience with storage, virtualization, LAN/WAN, end-user computing, and/or server/OS administration.

Responsibilities

Implement solutions based on business requirements and IT strategies.
Specialize in one of Storage/Backup, Virtualization, Server/OS, End-User Computing, or LAN/WAN design and admin.
Provide maintenance, monitoring, disaster recovery, and problem resolution.
Develop technical roadmaps, designs, and testing plans for new end-user computing and infrastructure systems/technology and changes to existing systems going into production.
Execute roadmaps, designs, testing plans, and implementations into production.
Ensure proper documentation is created to support IT operations.
Collaborate with System Administrators, Sr. System Administrators and junior Engineers to install all new systems.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor staff for effective teamwork.
