Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, remote sites and data centers. The role involves troubleshooting, lab testing of new technologies, and creating topology diagrams, SOPs and maintenance plans.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in network engineering and solid experience with Cisco routers/switches, ISE, Aruba wireless and Clearpass, with knowledge of firewall configuration and Layer 2/3 protocols.

Qualifications

8+ years experience in a Network Engineering role.
3+ years experience of Cisco ISE, Aruba wireless and Clearpass.
Background check / Clearance Requirements: government security investigation.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desirable.
Experience configuring and running firewalls is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support on network and cabling issues.
Support the LAN and WAN infrastructure, remote sites and data centers.
Troubleshoot network and cabling problems and coordinate with various department administrators.
Participate in lab configuration and testing of new technologies.
Prepare network topology diagrams, write Standard Operating Procedures, maintenance plans and provide status reports as required.
Participate in data calls and other operational and maintenance tasks.
