Job summary

Grand River Health Main Campus in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a Circulating Registered Nurse for PRN days. The RN provides care, patient education, and continuous surveillance in the operative phase to ensure safe surgeries and smooth team function.

You will monitor patient status, communicate with surgeons and anesthesia, and help maintain sterile equipment and OR readiness. A CO RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensed in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain status.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in an operating room setting.

Circulating Nurse

PRN, Days

What You’ll Do

The Circulating Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to patients in the operative phase. The RN provides continuous patient surveillance for early recognition and immediate emergency treatment of medical or surgical complications. They also ensure that the surgical team has everything they need to perform the procedure safely and efficiently.

• Assists with maintenance of surgical equipment, inventory, and sterilization.
• Assess operating room for equipment function, readiness, supply availability and ensures need of operating team are met.
• Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensed in the state of Colorado as a Registered Nurse. A temporary permit issued by the Board of Nursing will be accepted until a permanent license is received if awaiting reciprocity.
• Must have current BLS card upon hire and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
• ACLS and PALS certification is required within 6 months of initial employment and must maintain current certification status throughout GRHD employment.
• Prefer one year of professional nursing experience in an operating room patient care setting.

Our total rewards package includes

• Pay Range: $30.50 - 20.82 (based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: $2–$4/hour for nights and weekends
• PRN Differential: 10% differential in addition to base rate salary

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
