Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Dallas, TX is seeking a Circuit Breaker Technician to join our climate-controlled Breaker Shop. You will repair, rebuild, test, and service low-, medium-, and high-voltage switchgear from multiple manufacturers.

The role requires 2+ years of circuit breaker experience (480 V to 25 kV) or 5+ years of related mechanical work, strong testing skills, and a safety-first mindset. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; electro-mechanical training preferred.
• 2+ years 480 V to 25 kV circuit breaker experience; or 5+ years of mechanical experience in industrial setting.
• Testing skills and understanding of electrical/mechanical testing procedures preferred.
• Experience at an OEM breaker manufacturer is a plus.
• Reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams preferred.
• PEARL Certification or equivalent to become PEARL Certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers.
• Repair, rebuild, and test breakers and switchgear.
• Document test results prior to shipping.
• Occasionally travel to job sites for on-site testing and repair.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
