Job summary

You will use test equipment, read schematics and BOMs, and collaborate with Test Engineering to improve diagnostic efficiency while adhering to safety and quality policies.

This hands-on role requires strong math, PC skills, and the ability to follow procedures and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Mathematics concepts and data interpretation essential.
• Strong communication and ability to present information to management and customers.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficient in operating a Windows PC and related software.
• Advanced PC skills and knowledge of Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and visuals.
• Ability to follow simple two-step instructions and standard procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret basic graphs and data.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations with multiple units.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures on PCB assemblies.
• Use electronic test and measurement equipment proficiently.
• Follow assembly documentation such as schematics, BOMs, EC documents, and visuals.
• Assist Test Engineering in data evaluation to improve diagnostic efficiency.
• Adhere to production requirements, rules, policies and procedures.
• Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic department’s yield goals.
• Observe safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
• Comply with company security policy and perform other duties as assigned.
