Job summary

Jabil seeks a detail-oriented technician to verify testing, diagnose, and repair electronic circuit board assemblies. You will use precision test equipment and read schematics, BOMs, and EC documents to isolate issues and improve yields.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trig.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, BOMs, EC documents, and testing procedures.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and company tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to basic powered functional test failures on electronic circuit board assemblies.
• Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Read and utilize assembly documentation (schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, testing tools).
• Support Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnostic efficiency.
• Follow Jabil production rules, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet Diagnostic department yield goals.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
