Job summary

The Adecco Group in San Diego is seeking an Assembler (1st Shift) for an 11-month contract. You will perform routine electronic and mechanical assembly at unit and module levels, following blueprints, ECOs, deviations, and written processes.

You will assemble and inspect components, subassemblies, and final products, ensuring safety and quality while working with standard tooling and measuring devices. This role requires 2–4 years of related experience and good blueprint reading skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–4 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess good to excellent assembly blueprint reading skills.
• Must be able to use hand tools (e.g., torque wrench, drills, inspection tools).
• Ability to read a variety of measuring devices (rulers, tape measures, scales).
• Must communicate effectively with others.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Observes all safety regulations and PPE.
• Assemble components to final product using documents and tooling.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and parts lists; suggest process improvements.
• Perform rework from test failures per standard repair procedures.
• Prepare and insert components on circuit boards; hand solder components.
• Verify quality and accuracy of work at required intervals.
• May train and support lower-level assemblers as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment and read engineering documents.
