Job summary

Circa Las Vegas is seeking a Mechanical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems across the casino property, including hotel areas, kitchens, and back-of-house operations. You will ensure safe, efficient operation in compliance with regulatory standards.

This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a flexible, 24/7 schedule. Familiarity with CMMS and strong HVAC/plumbing knowledge are assets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred.
  • 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel, casino, resort, or large commercial facility.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues under time pressure.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required gaming license or background clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, elevators (as applicable), and kitchen equipment.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize downtime and disruption to casino operations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls on a 24/7 rotating schedule, as required.
  • Maintain and service plumbing, piping, valves, and mechanical controls.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, OSHA standards, and gaming regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in guest and back-of-house areas.
  • Support special projects, renovations, and system upgrades as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:
