Job summary

Circa Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across the property, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

You will use hand and power tools, complete work orders, and communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure safety and high guest satisfaction. Prior hotel/casino maintenance experience is preferred, and flexibility for varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of building maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
  • Working knowledge of plumbing repairs, familiar with soldering, brazing and drain cleaning equipment
  • Working knowledge of electrical repairs, able to change outlets, GFCIs, switches, light fixtures and repair light fixtures, able to read wiring schematics
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems to include change a/c filters, clean condensing fans, clean coils, read gauges, and temperatures accurately and understand principles, able to thread and install gas pipe, and familiar with the fundamentals of air conditioning, heating and refrigeration
  • Basic boiler knowledge
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Must be flexible, detail oriented, able to prioritize and able to multi-task effectively
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing environment with multiple distractions and meet timelines
  • Must uphold appearance standards
  • Ability to problem solve and strategize for better solutions
  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • One (1) year experience, preferably in a Hotel/Casino environment

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
  • Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping.
  • These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
  • Constant contact with fellow team members
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
