Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the property. The role covers pumps, boilers, water heaters, HVAC, and related equipment, with daily rounds and timely work-order completion.

The technician will perform re-lamping, assist with gaming-floor layout changes, and ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and building codes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience maintaining commercial or hospitality facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the property.
• Perform maintenance on pumps, boilers, water heaters, HVAC, and related systems.
• Install, modify, or redirect electrical circuits as needed.
• Complete work orders accurately and promptly.
• Conduct daily facility rounds and address maintenance needs.
• Re-lamp lighting throughout the property as required.
• Assist with installation and reconfiguration of gaming floor layouts as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain knowledge of applicable codes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding maintenance needs.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job description

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the property
• Perform maintenance and repairs on pumps, boilers, water heaters, water softeners, HVAC systems, gas equipment, and related systems
• Install, modify, or redirect electrical circuits as needed
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Conduct daily facility rounds and proactively address maintenance needs
• Re-lamp lighting throughout the property as required
• Assist with installation and reconfiguration of gaming floor layouts as needed
• Utilize diagnostic tools including amp meters, voltmeters, ohm meters, pressure gauges, and similar equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and perform work in the safest and most efficient manner
• Maintain working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local building and safety codes
• Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and other departments regarding maintenance needs
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Physical Requirements

• Mobility for up to 90% of the shift
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching (floor level to 12 feet), and climbing ladders and stairs
• Ability to crawl in confined spaces such as attics and access areas
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Normal vision (including color distinction), hearing, smell, and touch required
• Ability to communicate via phone, radio, and other communication devices
• Regular and predictable attendance required

Working Conditions

• Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
