Job summary

City of Buda, TX is seeking a CIP Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure initiatives across water, wastewater, drainage, transportation, and parks. You will oversee projects from planning to warranty, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while meeting city standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and several years of related experience, plus strong leadership and coordination with consultants, agencies, and city departments to advance the capital improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in civil engineering, construction management, project management, architecture, public administration, or a closely related field.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering, utility infrastructure, municipal capital projects, construction management, construction inspection, or project management.
• Valid driver’s license; Texas driver’s license within 90 days of employment.
• Project Management Professional certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage municipal infrastructure projects across water, wastewater, drainage, transportation, and parks.
• Oversee projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, closeout, and warranty within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, utility providers, property owners, and City departments to support CIP delivery.
• Ensure compliance with City standards, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Support effective delivery of the City’s capital improvement program.
