The City of Pearland, TX is hiring a full-time CIP Project Manager/Project Engineer to lead and improve the Engineering and Public Works department within the Capital Improvement Projects division. This customer-facing role manages design, construction, and coordination with consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering or related field is required.
• PMP Certification required or the ability to obtain within two years of hire.
• 2–5 years of municipal government or CIP project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates review of plans and specs for design of capital projects and facilitates design milestones.
• Develops project scope, cost, schedule, and budget estimates; monitors personnel and consultants.
• Performs project planning and risk assessment; handles community concerns and agency requirements.
