Job summary

City of Temple is seeking a Project Engineer to organize and manage public works capital improvement projects including water, wastewater, streets, drainage, and related civil infrastructure. Under the Division Director, you will review land development and public infrastructure improvements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

The role requires a BS in civil engineering, four years of civil engineering experience, and a Texas PE license or eligibility within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
• Four years of civil engineering experience.
• Valid Texas driver's license; Texas PE license or eligibility within six months.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects.
• Acts as contract administrator for assigned projects.
• Plans and budgets projects ensuring compliance with rules and ordinances.
• Provides team leadership and supervises inspectors and field crews.
