Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is hiring a CIP Operator for a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:30am) to safely clean lines from kettle to Raque between formulas, following HACCP and cleaning procedures. The role requires ability to operate automated systems with chemicals, and to work around steam and hot products.

Responsibilities include setting up pipes and pig launchers, clamps, sampling titration, cleaning kettles, and assisting with changeovers.

Qualifications

• Must comprehend detailed cleaning processes and operate automated systems safely around chemicals.
• Must work safely around steam and boiling product.
• Must handle multiple tasks with good organizational skills.
• Must communicate effectively.
• Follow all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up pipes and pig launchers; attach and tighten clamps.
• Shoot pig, take titration samples, clean kettles and work area.
• Set up blender and assist with changeover.
• Work a 12 hour alternate schedule.
