Job summary

Kraft Heinz Cedar Rapids is seeking a Chill Tank Operator on the 3rd shift to monitor temperature, bag integrity, and print quality as products exit the chiller. You will work with Onpack and Prepack leads, operate HMI-controlled chill tanks, and enforce HACCP and safety procedures while keeping lines running smoothly.

This role reports to the plant lead, offers a non-union environment, and requires attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Able to communicate effectively and work independently or with others.
• Adhere to Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment.
• Document bag temperatures.
• Stage totes in FIFO order.
• Basic understanding of HMI operation.
• Communicate with Onpack operators / Prepack lead.
• Identify quality concerns and seal integrity issues.
• Follow all HACCP and safety protocols.
• Use IQS computer system.
• Pallet jack operation.
• Support Q-RMP standards implementation.
