Job summary

Atlas World Group in Evansville, IN seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to lead enterprise security, privacy, risk, and resiliency programs. You’ll guide strategy, policies, and programs while mentoring a team and managing key vendor partnerships.

The role includes driving security education, privacy compliance, and business continuity, with travel up to 10% and collaboration with executives to align security with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a related field with at least seven years of relevant experience in information security, privacy, and business resiliency; or
• Associate’s degree in technology or a related field with at least ten years of relevant experience in these disciplines.
• A demonstrated record of developing and managing enterprise information security, privacy, and business resiliency programs.
• The ability to remain current on emerging security trends and changing data-privacy and personal-information protection requirements.
• Strong leadership across people, processes, and enterprise programs.
• The ability to establish a clear vision and successfully translate that vision into execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise strategy for security, privacy, risk, compliance, and resiliency.
• Advise senior management and the Board on security posture.
• Partner with executives to align security with business objectives.
• Lead incident and breach response, data-loss management, and notification activities.
• Oversee security assessments of networks, systems, apps, vendors, and third parties.
• Lead vendor-management and technical-risk program including remediation tracking and compliance reviews.
• Lead business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and organizational recovery efforts.
• Develop security education and awareness programs for employees.
• Monitor evolving privacy obligations across jurisdictions.
• Communicate security priorities and business value to executives.
