Job summary

Atlas World Group seeks a Chief Information Security Officer to lead enterprise security, privacy, technical risk, compliance, and resiliency programs. The role shapes strategy, policy, and governance while guiding vendor relationships and program execution.

The CISO will partner with executives to align security with business goals, oversee incident response, and communicate risks to the Board. Travel up to 10% within the U.S. and Canada is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience in information security, privacy, and business resiliency.
• Associate’s degree in technology or a related field with at least ten years of relevant experience.
• A demonstrated record of developing and managing enterprise information security, privacy, and business resiliency programs.
• The ability to remain current on emerging security trends and changing data-privacy and personal-information protection requirements.
• Strong leadership across people, processes, and enterprise programs.
• The ability to establish a clear vision and successfully translate that vision into execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee enterprise information security, privacy, and business resiliency programs.
• Advise senior management and the Board of Directors on security, privacy, and resiliency posture.
• Lead incident and breach response, including data-loss management, recovery, and notification activities.
• Oversee security assessments of networks, systems, applications, vendors, and other third parties.
• Build and maintain a strong vendor-management and technical-risk program, including risk assessments, remediation tracking, contract standards, and compliance reviews.
• Lead business impact assessments, business continuity planning, disaster recovery coordination, and organizational recovery efforts.
• Develop security education and awareness programs that help employees understand emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Monitor evolving privacy and data‑protection obligations across applicable U.S., Canadian, and international jurisdictions.
• Clearly communicate security priorities, risks, and business value to executive stakeholders.
