Job summary

Fayetteville Technical Community College invites applications for the Associate Vice President for Information Technology Services and Chief Information Officer (CIO). The role provides executive leadership over ITS, enterprise systems, and instructional technologies, guiding strategic direction and budgeting to support academic and administrative goals.

The CIO will partner with the CISO and Chief Academic Officer to ensure secure, transformative technology aligned with the college’s mission

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a closely related field.
Five years of progressively responsible experience in information technologies leadership.
Information systems experience in an academic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides executive leadership for ITS infrastructure, enterprise systems, telecommunications, instructional technologies and support operations.
Leads budgeting, procurement, contract administration, and policy development for ITS.
Collaborates with the CISO and CAO to align technology planning with cybersecurity and instructional needs.
