Job summary

Fresno State is seeking an Associate Vice President and Deputy CIO to lead the university’s Information Technology organization. Reporting to the VP/CIO, this executive will maintain leadership continuity, guide technology strategy, governance, and innovation, and serve as a trusted voice on institutional priorities.

The role emphasizes aligning IT investments with academic goals, driving portfolio prioritization, and strengthening stakeholder engagement across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible leadership in technology.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale organizational projects.
• ITIL Foundations certification required at minimum.
