Ellucian is seeking a Chief Information Officer to lead IT strategy at Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama. The role oversees day-to-day IT operations, contract management, and campus technology initiatives, working closely with campus leadership to align with Ellucian's strategic goals.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT leadership within higher education, strong ERP/SIS experience, and a proven ability to drive collaboration and transformational projects on site.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the Information Technology field or equivalent in a college/university setting.
• Knowledge of higher education technology trends and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Innovative approach to introduce new capabilities across the organization.
• Ability to promote teamwork between client and Ellucian staff.
• Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Understanding of ERP/SIS systems (Banner, Colleague, Jenzabar).
• Experience with ITIL and PMI methodologies preferred.
• Experience in higher education is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Maintain high responsiveness and proactive contact with client executives and site staff.
• Develop positive relationships with campus leaders and VIPs.
• Lead IT operations and staff at the client site to align with Ellucian goals.
• Advise on technology status relative to campus strategic objectives.
• Establish and communicate IT priorities, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee contract upgrades, renewals, and vendor management.
• Hire and develop on-site IT personnel and coordinate training.
• Manage on-site IT projects and cross-functional teams.
