Ellucian seeks a CIO to lead Oakwood University’s information technology strategy and operations in Huntsville, AL. You will align Ellucian services with campus goals, manage staff, budgets, contracts and vendor relationships, and ensure secure, compliant systems.

The role requires 8+ years of IT leadership in higher education, deep knowledge of ERP/SIS platforms (Banner, Colleague, Jenzabar). Strong communication and strategic thinking are essential to drive transformation and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT leadership in a college or university environment.
• Knowledge of higher education technology trends and ERP/SIS systems.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus IT strategy and day-to-day operations at Oakwood University.
• Manage staff, budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliant, secure, and high-performing IT systems.
• Coordinate with campus leadership to align IT with strategic goals.
• Oversee ITIL/PMI practices and contract upgrades/renewals.
