Job summary

Ellucian seeks a Chief Information Officer to lead the campus IT strategy at Philander Smith College in Little Rock, AR. The role oversees technology delivery, staff management, and contract compliance on site, aligning IT with institutional goals.

Relocation assistance is available; a yearly bonus is included in addition to base compensation. You will influence both administrative and academic systems, including ERP/SIS platforms across the campus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT leadership experience in higher education.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/SIS systems used in colleges (Banner, Colleague, Jenzabar).
• Experience with ITIL processes and PMI-style project management preferred.
• Ability to drive campus IT strategy and collaborate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus IT strategy and daily operations.
• Oversee client relationships with campus executives and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State requirements for records.
