Zaden Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity and IT Governance Lead (TS/SCI) to serve as the CIO’s primary contact for a DoD cyber mission customer in the Baltimore-Washington area.

You will carry accountability for IT strategy, workforce, budget, and information security, including audits, crisis response and vendor security, ensuring outcomes align with the customer’s security standards. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, extensive CIO-level experience across IT leadership,

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required for clearance.
• 5+ years in CIO-level IT leadership, budgeting and IT strategy.
• 5+ years in IT workforce planning, information security and privacy leadership.
• 5+ years championing digital equity and accessibility of information/telecom tech for a workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cybersecurity and IT governance program for a DoD cyber mission customer.
• Implement and maintain RMF/ISO 27001/CMMC across the enterprise.
• Oversee risk assessments, audits, and vulnerability testing; coordinate audits.
• Lead crisis response during major incidents (detection, containment, recovery).
• Manage third-party security vendors and ensure they meet customer standards.
• Drive a security-first culture through organization-wide cybersecurity education and training.
