Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our CIO Advisory Practice. As a CIO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience helping CIOs and technology leaders make and execute critical decisions about how technology enables their organizations.

You will apply business, technology, and analytical skills to help clients align technology strategies and investments with business priorities, improve operating performance, manage cost and risk, and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Live within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Willing to travel up to 50%; travel expenses covered by West Monroe.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into workflows; strong critical thinking to assess outputs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client and West Monroe teams to understand business priorities and future-state needs through interviews, documentation and workshops.
• Capture and synthesize discussions, identifying key findings and decisions.
• Gather, analyze, and document requirements to support assessments and designs.
• Assess technology capabilities and transformation opportunities to identify gaps and improvements.
• Define KPIs and data sources, and track operational and financial outcomes.
• Support analytical frameworks by defining data requirements and evaluating costs, benefits, and risks.
• Develop storyboards and communicate analysis to deliver decision-ready client artifacts.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate research while validating outputs.
