Job summary

Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in Brooklyn, NY, seeks part-time Cinema Floor Staff for the BAM Rose Cinemas. You will operate the box office and concession, assist patrons, and help with ushering and cleaning to ensure smooth cinema operations. The role requires learning POS systems and delivering excellent service in a team setting.

Compensation is $21.00 per hour under the BAM/UAW Local 2110 agreement. On-site position with evening, weekend, and holiday hours; sick time and paid time off are

Qualifications

• MUST be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn multiple POS software for cinema concession stand and ticket box office.
• Communicate clearly with customers and answer questions.
• Report to work promptly and maintain a welcoming appearance.
• Maintain cash register balance at concession stand and box office.
• Ensure daily upkeep of cinema space during operations.
