Assemble Cinemas seeks a hands-on supervisor for the reopening of Manhasset Cinemas. You will act as manager on duty, supervising shifts, ensuring guest-service standards, and maintaining presentation quality.

The role requires opening/closing duties, cash handling with register reconciliation, and collaboration with concessions, training, and scheduling. Evening and weekend availability is expected on-site in Manhasset, NY.

Qualifications

• At least two years of supervisory or lead experience in cinema, hospitality, restaurant, or retail operations.
• Cash-handling and POS experience.
• Strong communication and sound judgment.

Responsabilités

• Open and close the cinema, handle cash and reconcile registers.
• Supervise floor staff and resolve guest concerns.
• Assist with training, scheduling, and concessions inventory.
• Support private screenings and community events.
• Perform basic projection and assist with clean-up as trained.

Join the founding team at the reopening Manhasset Cinemas. This hands-on role supports the Theater & Operations Manager and serves as manager on duty, supervising shifts and maintaining guest-service and presentation standards.Responsibilities include opening and closing, cash handling and register reconciliation, supervising floor staff, resolving guest concerns, supporting training and scheduling, monitoring concessions inventory, and assisting with private screenings and community events. Work alongside the team on concessions, cleaning, and basic projection as trained.Requirements: At least two years of supervisory or lead experience in cinema, hospitality, restaurant, or retail operations; cash-handling and POS experience; strong communication and sound judgment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required. Must be 18 or older and able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.Part-time, hourly, non-exempt. $23/hour. On-site in Manhasset, NY 11030.
