Job description

Performs various duties in a warehouse management system to receive and ship products and process customer returns. Responsible for routine warehouse tasks such as receiving, shipping, and inventory management in a warehouse or production support environment. Ensures safe handling of regulated materials for all inbound and outbound shipments, including proper separation, palletizing, loading, and storage. Identifies damages, reports shortages or quality issues, and maintains records of shipped merchandise. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares materials for final shipment. May manually lift heavy items or use assistance/equipment. Tasks are generally well-defined, requiring judgment or interpretation. Other duties as assigned, which should not exceed current job grade.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma/GED.

Minimum Experience

Proven experience as a forklift operator.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavier packages with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good communication and human relations skills. Ability to complete all required training. Effective communication in noisy environments. Attention to detail and ability to read and follow instructions.

Job Conditions

Non-safety sensitive position. Must work in a constant state of alertness and safety awareness.
