An established industry player is seeking a dedicated warehouse operator to manage inventory and ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes. Performs various duties in a warehouse management system to receive and ship products and process customer returns. Responsible for routine and some non-routine warehouse tasks including receiving, shipping, and inventory management. Tasks are performed in a warehouse or production support environment. Ensures safe and legal handling of regulated materials for all inbound and outbound shipments, including proper separation, palletizing, loading, and storage. Identifies damages, reports shortages or quality deficiencies, and maintains records of shipped merchandise. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares materials for final shipment. May lift heavy items manually or with assistance. Tasks are generally well-defined and require judgment or interpretation. Other duties may be assigned, including lower-grade tasks, but should not exceed the current job grade.
High School Diploma/GED.
Proven experience as a forklift operator.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good communication and human relations skills. Ability to complete all required training. Effective communication in noisy environments. Attention to detail. Ability to read and understand customer work instructions and execute them accurately.
Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Various shifts available: Mon - Fri / 12:00 - 20:30, 10:30 - 19:00, 14:00 - 22:30, 16:00 - 00:30, 08:00 - 16:30; Sun - Thurs / 04:00 - 08:00; Mon - Thurs / 10:30 - 19:00; Mon - Fri / 07:30 - 16:00.
