Blake's Orchard, Inc. is seeking a Cider Mill Manager to oversee all aspects of the retail Cider Mill operation in Armada, MI.

You will supervise daily store activities, manage staff, control financials, and implement procedures to drive sales and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, staffing, merchandising, and customer service skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and mentor a growing team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prior Food Retail or Grocery/produce management experience required.
• Experience with P&L Reporting.
• Experience managing a multi-dimensional operation.
• Knowledge and/or experience with creative merchandising of a retail operation.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an ever changing, intense environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision and good follow-through.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and integrity a must.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations and team performance to deliver top customer service.
• Oversee product merchandising and maintain stock levels through ordering.
• Decide on sales floor promotions, displays, pricing, and store advertising.
• Assist customers and locate products; ensure promotions are applied.
• Ensure signage and product quality of perishable and non-perishables.
• Monitor competitive environment and adjust strategy as needed.
• Research new products based on industry data and trends.
• Communicate company values and foster teamwork among staff.
• Assist in hiring, review resumes, and interview candidates.
• Prepare and revise weekly staff schedules to meet needs.
• Coordinate with shipping, supply chain, bakery, marketing, and finance.
• Other duties as assigned.
