Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Limited Livonia Distribution Center is seeking a CIC Supervisor to lead the commodity inventory control team in a 400,000 sq ft refrigerated facility operating 24/7. The role focuses on achieving goals for rejection rate, inventory freshness, and timely allocations, acting as the main liaison with planners and operations management.

The supervisor oversees training and day-to-day activities, collaborates with Planning, Production, and Logistics, and ensures GMP/Organic

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership.
• Proficient with NAV and JDA; experience with MS Office is required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve department goals for rejection percentage, inventory freshness, and allocations.
• Coordinate with Operations and CIC manager for daily production and sales order allocations.
• Ensure sales orders are allocated through inventory or production to meet service objectives.
• Maintain an inventory plan for the 0-3 day horizon, tracking inbounds and forecasts.
• Communicate plans to CICs and monitor execution; adjust as needed.
• Check product quality in inventory and at receiving; coordinate with procurement for issues.
• Maintain regular communication with Commodity Planners, Production Schedulers, and Logistics.
• Assist in communicating customer expectations with commodity team, Production, and Shipping.
• Train new hires for Commodity Inventory Controller positions and participate in interviews.
