Job summary

Search Masters is partnering with a premier organization to identify a Kaizen/Lean facilitator for its Canton, Ohio facility. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, leading 5S, Kaizen events, standardized work, and on-floor coaching to reach best-in-class performance.

You will collaborate with department managers, monitor KPIs such as OEE, productivity, downtime, and quality, and apply Root Cause and Fishbone analyses to map and implement sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience utilizing Lean tools and methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational improvements throughout the facility in collaboration with all department managers.
• Serve as the primary facilitator for all Kaizen events across departments.
• Spend ~70% of time on the production floor leading 5S initiatives, Kaizen events, and standardized work instruction development.
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics including productivity, scrap, rework, downtime, OEE, labor efficiency, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Apply Lean tools to conduct Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone Analysis, Visual Management, and Process Mapping.
