Job summary

Adient plc is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Process Manager to lead plant-wide lean initiatives, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. You will guide Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and waste reduction while coaching leaders in Lean and problem‑solving methodologies.

The role requires strong project management, excellent communication, and change management capabilities to sustain long-term improvements across multiple functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong project management, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and change management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement strategy and roadmap for the plant.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Drive KPI improvements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.

  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase productivity and reduce operating costs.
  • Develop standard work and sustainment processes to ensure long-term results.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR teams.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate results to leadership.
  • ODS update.
  • Implement process change supported by Material, launch, OPS, Maintenance.

Salary Range: $106,700-$178,000

Reports to: Plant Manager

Position Summary

The Continuous Improvement Manager leads plant-wide initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement strategy and roadmap for the plant.
