Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to deploy and train CI methodologies within a manufacturing facility. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and lead safety-forward improvement projects that enhance quality and productivity.

You will coordinate with operations, maintenance and leadership to drive OEE, implement kaizen events, and embed CI into daily routines across teams. Demonstrated Green Belt proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in operations, manufacturing, or process improvement.
• Knowledge of the flexible packaging industry.

Responsibilities

• Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
• Train CI in the facility; facilitate deployment and integrate CI into the culture.
• Support production and operations to ensure quality, meet service goals, and improve efficiency.
• Support employee training to instill CI skill set across the organization.
• Develop new processes and programs where gaps exist.
• Lead projects to improve business results.
• Drive OEE improvement via data extraction and opportunity identification.
• Establish metrics, generate reporting tools and progress reports.
• Motivate people to achieve higher standards and performance levels.
• Quantify results, identify opportunities, adapt to change, interface with management.
• Support 5S and kaizen events and audit processes.
• Develop PCS with department leaders and boards/meeting structures.
