Job summary

Fortune 500 Manufacturing Company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to drive Lean Manufacturing strategy and sustainment of plant KPI delivery, with a focus on waste elimination and margin improvement.

The role requires leading the CI team onsite, applying Kaizen and 6S techniques, and collaborating with maintenance and operations to deliver site-wide improvements and CI training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required or preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of CI/Lean manufacturing experience in high-speed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Apply CI techniques such as Kaizen and 6S to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Direct CI group activities in coordination with maintenance and operations.
• Facilitate CI events to drive plant improvements and waste elimination.
• Engage production personnel to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrate ability to drive change and communicate improvements across the organization.
• Provide CI training and coaching to relevant teams.

Job description

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader that will be responsible for Lean Manufacturing and CI strategy while executing deployment driving margin through sustainment of plant KPI's/deliverables and waste elimination.

Position Overview

• Candidate will lead the onsite efforts on Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement.
• Act as a resource to the organization for the use of continuous improvement techniques such as the Hochin, Kaizen and various Lean Manufacturing techniques and other improvement methods.
• Lead the activities of the CI group including their interaction with maintenance function, Operations to drive site wide improvements.
• Facilitate special CI events activities to drive 6S, plant improvement performance in capitalizing on removing waste and improvement of yield, and production processes.
• Drives engagement with production personnel to participate suggest improvement opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to effect change in a manufacturing environment and ensure improvement activity is being communicated, understood, and supported within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate groups and deliver continuous improvement training.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in technical field is preferred/degree required.
• Candidate should possess at least 4 years of CI/Lean manufacturing experience within high speed manufacturing environments
