Job summary

Northbridge Community Church in Rochester, Minnesota, is seeking an Administrative Pastor to provide organizational leadership for ministries, operations, and resources aligned with the church’s mission.

The role reports to the Lead Pastor, is full-time, and oversees administrative, facilities, and support staff while guiding volunteer systems and pastoral functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead to filter and resolve issues that do not require the Lead Pastor’s attention.
• Oversee and improve church-wide administrative systems, processes, and communications.
• Coordinate maintenance of church policies, procedures, and ministry handbooks.
• Provide input with the Lead Pastor to the Finance Committee regarding the church budget.
• Directly supervise administrative, facilities, and support staff.
• Assist the Lead Pastor in creating a healthy staff culture rooted in collaboration, spiritual growth, and accountability.
• Lead staff meetings and coordinate staff training and development.
• Serve as liaison between ministries not assigned to an elder’s oversight.
• Support ministry leaders in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and events.
• Assist ministry leaders with volunteer onboarding and training.
• Advise facility leaders on current needs.
• Assist with services, special events, and ceremonies when requested.
• Participate in pastoral care, prayer, and discipleship as needed.
• Model spiritual maturity and shepherding leadership consistent with the church’s mission.
