The Church of Eleven22 seeks an Accountant to join our Finance team. This role focuses on applying GAAP, closing monthly, preparing financial reports, and maintaining strong controls for the church and subsidiaries.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit settings. This is a full-time, on-site position with weekend flexibility for church events.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Three to five years of accounting experience.
• Non-profit accounting experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare month-end close and analyze account information.
• Post and process journal entries to record transactions.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and other reports.
• Assist with debt amortization schedules and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Support audit fieldwork and provide requested documents.
• Collaborate with team on accounting projects and ensure internal controls.
